Our Services
Neuropsychology Services
Neuropsychologists are trained to understand the relationship between the brain and behaviour/emotions. They focus on how these relationships can be applied to the diagnosis of known or suspected brain disorders, the assessment of associated cognitive (thinking) and behavioural/emotional functioning, and their rehabilitation/treatment. This practice offers neuropsychological diagnostic, assessment and rehabilitation services across the age span for children, adolescents and adults.
Clinical Psychology
Clinical psychology is an integration of science, theory, and clinical knowledge for the purpose of understanding, preventing, and relieving psychologically-based distress or dysfunction in order to promote subjective well-being and personal development. As such, Clinical Psychologists help people identify emotional, mental and behavioural issues in their lives in order to make positive changes to their thinking and behaviour. They aim to understand their clients’ thoughts and actions so they can work with them to manage or overcome their psychological distress and improve their well-being.
Counselling and Support
Registered Counsellors are psychological practitioners who provide psychological and preventative interventions that focus on support in order to promote the enhancement of wellbeing of children, adults and families. They perform psychological screening, as well as short-term, supportive counselling, psycho-education and general screening psychological assessments, e.g. intellectual.
